I have been making a shake for breakfast every morning that Tim and I both love, so I thought I’d share it.
2 1/2 cups spinach (kale can be used as well), I prefer frozen
1 can coconut milk (full fat)
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup water
4 tbs hemp protein powder
Put all ingredients into a food processor and blend. Add more water if needed.
This shake is filled with high quality protein, loads of nutrient dense plants, and healthy fats. These foods being blended makes them easy to digest which gives us great energy in the morning. It can also be changed to your taste; different fruits, more spinach, less coconut milk, etc.
